Who we are?

The Lions Nordic Cooperation Council NSR is a cooperation body of the Lions organisations in all the Nordic countries. We have long traditions: NSR was founded already in 1962.

The NSR co-operation is base on following Constitution and By-Laws:

The group of Council Chairpersons (CC)

The NSR work is leaded by group of Council Chairpersons, one from each 5 countries.

The CC group for 2024-2025:

Organising committee NSR-OC

NSR organises a yearly conference, typically in January each year. The event circulates in the various NSR countries. For the purpose of organising an NSR conference, there are two organising groups working each year. The NSR-OC or organising committee is an international group. The NSR-OC consists of 5 Lions, one from each Nordic country. The members are elected in each member MD and should be Lions leaders with strong NSR experience. In addition to the NSR-OC group,

Organisining coommittee 2024-2025:

 NSR Coordinator

Coordinator´s main assignment is to support generally the CC Board, and particularly to
facilitate, organize and lead all common activities of the Nordic countries during the
participation in the Lions Clubs International Convention.

NSR Host Organising Committee

the country whose turn it is to organise the event creates its own organising committee to take care of the practical issues of setting up the event.
