Finland and NSR 2016-2018

New solar cookers ready to be transported to Kenyan villages. Over 1500 people now get their daily hot food heated without burning wood.

Here is one example of an NSR project: Solar cookers for poor people in Kenya instead of burning the very last pieces of wood that can be found on these arid areas. This picture shows one Finnish lion and two Kenyans carrying ready-made solar cookers which can save a lot of burning wood – a great relief for the environment with a cheap investment.
