PID Robert Rettby, from Neuchâtel, Switzerland, served as an International Director 2013 to 2019, and as Board Appointee 2018-2019.
A member of the Lions Club Neuchâtel since 1993, he has held many offices within the association, in his District, his Multiple District, and internationally.
Having served our association in all fields – Global Action Team, LCIF, Leadership training, Europa Forum president, LCI representative to UNICEF, Centennial Committee chairperson, and much more – PID Robert is now ready to meet another challenge.
Robert is an entrepreneur, former CEO and director of a group of family-owned construction companies, and has a master in civil engineering. He has now retired from the company but is still professionally active, with a spin-off, as a consultant in the fields of water treatment and industrial safety.
Happily married to Catherine, with whom they have 2 sons, both EPFL engineers as well, and 4 grandchildren, all living in Switzerland.
